A question about Kalstheno, a purchase, or your data? Get in touch with Dipanshu.
For a technical issue, include your iPhone model, iOS version, Kalstheno version, and a short description of what happened. A screenshot is helpful if it does not contain information you would prefer to keep private. Do not send your Apple Account password or payment-card details.
Restore a purchase
Make sure you are signed in to the Apple Account used for the original purchase. Open Kalstheno and use Restore Purchases on the subscription screen, or Restore purchase in Profile if you already have access.
If access is still missing, check whether the subscription is active in your Apple Account’s subscription settings, then contact support with the issue and any relevant Apple order reference. You do not need to create a Kalstheno account.
Manage or cancel a subscription
Open your iPhone’s Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Kalstheno and follow Apple’s options. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to prevent renewal. You can also open subscription management from Kalstheno’s Profile screen.
Deleting the app, removing photos, or deleting iCloud data does not cancel your subscription. See Apple’s cancellation guide. For an App Store refund request, use reportaproblem.apple.com.
Training records and iCloud
Training data and photos are stored on your device and synchronize through your private iCloud when available. Use the same Apple Account on your devices, check that iCloud is enabled for Kalstheno, and make sure your account has available storage and a working connection.
Changes may take time to synchronize. The app can use local storage when iCloud is unavailable; Profile shows the iCloud status. If records appear to be missing, contact support before deleting the app or clearing its data, as locally stored records may otherwise be lost.
There is no Kalstheno sign-in, and the developer cannot browse or recover your private iCloud training database. See Apple’s iCloud-storage guide for help with your account storage.
Connect or disconnect Apple Health
In Kalstheno, open Profile → Apple Health. You can connect Health or choose Turn off on this device to stop further syncing. Apple Health is optional.
With permission, Kalstheno reads body weight and writes the weight you log and workouts you complete. The app does not read heart rate or sleep records. Manage the individual permissions for Kalstheno in Apple Health’s app-access settings or your device’s privacy settings.
Turning the connection off does not erase records previously saved to Apple Health or existing app entries. Delete Health records through the Health app. For storage and privacy details, read Apple Health in the Privacy Policy.
Camera, photos, and reminders
Choose a progress photo with the system photo picker, or allow camera access to take one in the app. Original photo location metadata is removed from the stored copy. A comparison is shared only when you choose to use the share sheet.
Manage camera and notification permissions in your iPhone’s Settings. Training reminders and rest alerts are local notifications. Turning notifications off does not stop you from training.
Remove photos or training data
Progress photo: open the photo from Journey, choose Delete photo from its menu, and confirm. To remove a profile photo, use Remove photo in Profile. To delete a saved custom session, open its menu in My sessions and choose Delete session. Completed workouts and personal records remain in your history.
Supported record deletions synchronize to your private iCloud when sync is available. They do not delete a comparison you already shared, a copy exported elsewhere, or a record saved separately to Apple Health.
The app currently has no single “delete all data” button. You can manage its iCloud data through your Apple Account’s iCloud storage settings and remove the app’s local data by deleting the app. Deleting the app alone does not necessarily remove its iCloud copy or backups. Removing app data does not erase Apple’s or RevenueCat’s purchase records and does not cancel a subscription.
For privacy requests concerning information held by the developer, such as support emails, contact contact@kalstheno.com. We cannot remotely erase private device or iCloud records. See the Privacy Policy for more detail.
